I love the series. Though the sex is hot, the story lines are incredible. Each book had you sitting on the edge of your seat. Each tied in the other characters.. until this book.Sorry but there was no story line. It basically was porn on paper. I like dirty talk in the bed room, but this vocab turned my stomach. Took raunchy to a new level. There was no story. Just sex with language that would make a sailor blush. There was three pages of the story then the epilogue.Felt ripped off with this book. Almost doesn't belong with the series. Where was the suspense? Where was the comradery getting to know the other guys working together to get back his woman he loved.Sorry but I was so disappointed. I LOVED the other books. The story lines and suspense made everything,including the sex scenes worth it.
Author Madison Faye has become the queen of the short - over-the-top romance, and her Blackthorn Mountain series is one of her best! While I have enjoyed every one of the titles in the Blackthorn Mt. series, Faye’s newest title, “UNWRAPPING HIS MOUNTAIN PACKAGE,†is my favorite! Despite its length, “UNWRAPPING HIS MOUNTAIN PACKAGE†has a couple of characters who were easy to love and root for their happy ending. Additionally, the plot was a bit more complex than most novellas and VERY compelling! If you are looking for a break from holiday family and football, “UNWRAPPING HIS MOUNTAIN PACKAGE†is the one to purchase! Get your copy today!! Happy pages. 😉
Unwrapping His Mountain Package is steamy and intriguing. Dane is sent to deliver a package.What happens when he discovers he's delivering a woman and not typical merchandise? Holly is the woman that is the captive being treated like property. Can Dane prove that he had no knowledge he was transporting Holly? This story has avalanches, mobsters, trafficking, hot sex scenes and two characters that are extremely attracted to each other. It is racy, mysterious and action packed and once I started I couldn't put it down. It was another great installment in the Blackthorn Mountain Men series.
This is the seventh book in the series and they can be read as standalone books. However, I like them better in order. He works for the mob sometimes. He transports things for them. This time he got more than he bargained for. Pushed off the road by an avalanche he discovers he isn’t transporting goods this time but a woman. He isn’t okay with that. It gets even worse when he has an instant attraction to her. She is his now and he won’t let anyone take her from him. Madison has done it again. While these books aren’t completely probable that isn’t why we read them. This is a quick super steamy read sure, to heat up your cold winter night. The characters are great. The guys from the previous books make an appearance as well. I look forward to more books in this series.
I love going back to Blackthorn Mountain. The sizzle between Holly and Dane is electrifying. Dane goes all alpha on Holly because he feel slightly guilty at how they become “traveling†together. Trapped in a blizzard in a remote cabin they have to find creative ways to stay warm, I’m sure you can guess the fun way they stayed warm. I was excited to see a couple of the previous overprotective, alpha men make an appearance in this book. I can’t wait for the next installment in the series!
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy of Unwrapping His Mountain Package. Loved this book. Another fabulous addition to the Blackthorn Men series. Although it is in a series, it is a stand-alone story, with hot as hades Alpha he man, why can’t I find one for myself, insta-oh yeah, here we go again. A fabulous escape, fun read that is well written, easy to follow, and leaves you a very satisfied reader. I just love her books!
I absolutely loved reading my arc copy of Unwrapping his mountain package by Madison Faye. I couldn't get enough of this book. It had me hooked from the very beginning. The story was exciting and plenty of steamy goodness. The characters were fabulously written with an amazing connection. This is a definite must read.
Hot sexy insta-love story that will have you loving Dane & Holly. Dane doesn’t realize what he is transporting until after he crashes and finds Holly. Holly & Dane need to do everything too survive and spending time together they grow closer together. Another sexy Madison read that will keep you glued too your kindle.
